  • VISA Check Card Dispute
    Hopefully, you will never need to dispute a transaction; but if you do, it's nice to know that Community First may be able to assist with your dispute. For more information, please read below.
    A Visa Check Card Dispute occurs when a member and merchant cannot resolve an issue about a particular transaction. This does not apply to ATM, nor anytime the PIN is used.

    The merchant must follow certain regulations in order to accept Community First Visa Check Cards. Therefore, Visa checks first to see if the merchant has complied with all regulations. If not, the Credit Union may be able to assist in resolving the dispute. Because of strict time limits imposed on disputing transactions,you must notify us of your dispute within 60 days from the date of the statement on which the transaction in question appears. If azny supporting documentation is requested, it is critical that it be submitted in a timely manner.
